How to trigger a survey by including it in the interface of the website?

Deploy your campaigns and integrate them into your website

In this article you will learn how to create an InPage deployment.

Thanks to the many configuration elements available, you will be able to deploy your campaigns on your website to display your surveys at the right time in your web pages and increase your response rate!

Here are the 3 steps to follow to configure your deployment:

  1. Creation of the deployment
  2. Addition of conditions: "IF"
  3. Action configuration: "THEN"

Creation of the deployment

In the side menu, click on "deployments".

Here you will find all your previous deployments.

To create a new one, click on the green button "Create a new deployment" at the top right of your page.

Then select the "InPage"deployment type and the campaign to deploy.

All you have to do is name your new deployment.

Finally click on save.

Triggering your deployment

Now you can define the different trigger conditions for your deployment.

The trigger structure is always made up of two parts: "If" and "Then".

Add conditions: "IF"

To add one or more conditions (or sub-conditions) and configure their connections between them.

The connections between the conditions are:

  • AND = all the conditions must be validated for the trigger to take place.
  • IF = if one of the conditions is valid, the trigger to take place.

Click on "Add a new condition".

The available conditions appear.

These conditions are described in this article:  How to create a website deployment?

Once your trigger conditions have been chosen, you can now define the action that will apply.

Action configuration: "THEN"

Select the action by clicking on “Add a new action”.

The criteria for configuring your survey are displayed.

Select the target element

Indicate the

element in which the element will be integrated in the field “Target element selector of the DOM". Use selection expressions CSS 3 to designate the elements of your website: Selector CSS 3.

The “display” property of this target element must be set to “none” before Skeepers triggers the deployment.

Manage the display of the first question

Regarding the display of the first question, it corresponds by default to the design defined in your deployment. To override the design of this first question, check Yes for “Overload the HTML / CSS html / css code”.

The panel appears:

You can directly enter your HTML and / or CSS code in the dedicated input space.

Click on “Apply changes” to view the rendering.

Click on the "Return to default code" icon to return to default HTML and CSS.

Validate the configuration window when it suits you.

Once your selection has been made, don't forget to save your scenarios by clicking on "Save scenarios" before changing the page.

________

Once your Delivery is correctly configured, all you have to do is click on the green Activate button.

A confirmation message pops up. Your deployment is now active on your website.

Automatically your Campaign changes to "Live" status.

Note that the information on the number of sollicitations (the number of times the questionnaire is displayed on a visitor's page) is not available on the platform for this type of deployment.
