Attributes: How to change values

From now on, you have the possibility to modify the values of the attributes collected in the past.

Forget about errors in your indicators! Your analyses are consistent thanks to the harmonization of the names or values of the attributes you collect.

Prerequisite:

  • All accounts can benefit from this feature
  • Have Data Management permission – Contact your CSM or Project Manager to be able to use it.

Procedure :

  • Log in to the platform
  • In the left menu, click on "Settings"
  • In the Campaigns section, click on "Edit Collected Attributes"

• View the "Collected attributes modification" dashboard

A dashboard with the history of the data changes that have been made to your account will be displayed.

This information is very important as it will allow you to track the changes and the impact that they will have on your campaign.

Attention:

If you have communicated attributes before the change via other sources such as webhook or if you have made an export, they will not be impacted.

  • Status
  • Attribute
  • Sollicitations
  • Visits
  • Feedbacks
  • Value to be modified
  • Old value
  • Type of new value
  • New value

  • Start editing the attribute
  • Click on "Modify Collected Attributes"

In the right side menu, you will find two icons: Data and Filters.

In this area, you can define the scope and the attribute to be modified.

⭐ Please note:

The modification is limited to 20,000 feedbacks at a time. You must therefore use the filters to specify your modifications if you have more than 20,000 feedbacks displayed on the page.

  • Use the filters to choose the scope, based on certain elements such as: campaign type, broadcast type, attribute type or segment:

Important:

Filters work for all data available before collection, they cannot be applied to collected responses.

  • Define the data (attributes) to be modified. You must restrict to one or more campaigns (either by restricting to a campaign or by filtering on campaigns).

In your dashboard, you can view the attributes of the campaign. You will also have the number of solicitations, visits, and responses related to the selected campaign.

  • Select the attribute to modify
  • Then select, whether the attribute is not associated with a value, whether the attribute is associated with a specific value or all the values associated with the attribute.
  • Define the new value

  • Click on "Start the modification" : a confirmation request will be displayed:

  • Enter the number of visits that is displayed in the pop-up. This allows the system to confirm and validate the change:

Attention:

If you choose a different number, the modification will not be validated.

A new screen will be displayed to mention that the modification is in progress.

  • Return to your dashboard to check the status of your request:

You can now view your change in, for example, your raw data tables in the Analysis section:
